Job Summary
Serve as an outside sales resource and subject matter expert for flow-control-related services and products (valves, actuators, instrumentation, accessories) within the assigned territory. Identify and cultivate new customer opportunities, manage pursuit of in-house and field opportunities, and lead or support proposals through identification, pursuit strategy, proposal generation, execution, project completion and customer satisfaction follow-up. Communicate technical requirements to the inside sales team, ensure adherence to safety standards and industry codes (ANSI, ASME, API, IEC), and seek opportunities to deliver additional value that drives incremental revenue for Applied Control and Emerson. Requires travel (including overnight) and a valid driver's license with access to a vehicle reimbursement program; working with MS Word/Outlook/PPT and various business systems.
Required Qualifications

- Excellent organizational and time management skills
- Working knowledge of isolation valves, actuators, and accessory control equipment
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
- Basic PC skills and ability to utilize MS Word, Outlook, PowerPoint, etc.
- Ability to access customer equipment which may involve stooping, bending, kneeling, squatting, climbing ladders and stairs, riding man lifts, walking scaffolding, catwalks
