Job Summary
Business Development Manager responsible for leading marketing and sales activities in assigned Malaysian markets. Develops and executes plans to expand the customer base, maintains and develops a computerized customer and prospect database, and promotes company products and testing services to new customers. Requires understanding of company operations, products, and laboratory capabilities; strong selling and communication skills; familiarity with sampling equipment and regulatory/ISO/IEC 17025 clauses; and supervisory capability. Duties include planning and controlling department activities (costing, quotations, tender processes), resource and manpower planning to maximize sales targets, coordinating market development actions, setting personal and team targets, mentoring sales staff, conducting market research and competitive analysis, handling customer inquiries and complaints, coordinating with internal departments to meet timelines, and driving process improvements to enhance customer experience. Education: degree in Chemistry; experience: minimum 5 years in related industries; location availability: Johor Bahru, Kelana Jaya, Nilai; remote option: hybrid.
Required Qualifications
