Job Summary

Drive market expansion by identifying high-growth applications for thermoplastics, composites, and structural shapes across energy infrastructure, including oil & gas, renewables, and power transmission. Conduct market analyses to evaluate revenue potential and execute growth strategies that translate advanced materials capabilities into scalable commercial opportunities. Build strategic relationships with key decision-makers at OEMs, EPC firms, and energy operators to lead early-stage customer engagement and position materials in new designs. Partner cross-functionally with Engineering and R&D to develop solutions addressing customer needs for performance and durability while maintaining a robust pipeline of commercialization opportunities. Monitor industry trends and represent the organization at technical forums to inform market priorities and investment decisions.

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Materials Science, Business, or a related field
  • 10+ years of business development, market development, or commercial leadership experience
  • Strong experience within energy markets such as oil & gas, power, renewables, infrastructure, or related industrial sectors
  • Proven success developing new markets and commercializing new applications
  • Strong commercial and financial acumen with the ability to evaluate market potential and business opportunities
  • Excellent negotiation, communication, and presentation skills
  • Ability to operate effectively in a highly collaborative, global, and cross-functional environment
  • Remote opportunity within the Americas
  • Approximately 60–70% travel
  • Domestic travel with occasional international travel
  • E-Verify eligibility to work in the United States

Desired Qualifications

  • Strong understanding of industrial materials and engineered solutions
  • Experience with composites, engineered materials, structural systems, thermoplastics, or advanced materials
