Business Development Manager, Enablement - Incubation

Job Summary
Drive the enablement handoff for solutions graduating from Incubation into the broader Axis organization, focusing initially on Business Intelligence and expanding to Analytics, AI, and other emerging areas. Develop messaging, training, playbooks, talk tracks, and tools that make new solution areas accessible and actionable for field sales, sales engineers, and channel partners. Design and deliver structured enablement programs while providing industry education through association involvement, tradeshow participation, and thought leadership engagements. Serve as an internal resource supporting sales initiatives, demos, competitive intelligence, and consensus building across stakeholders to remove perceived hurdles. Define and report on enablement KPIs including adoption, pipeline sourced by enabled sellers, and time-to-self-sufficiency.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in computer science or related field
- A minimum of 8+ years' experience in business development or similar related experience
- Security and/or IT industry commercialization, technical and product knowledge
- Familiarity with data platforms, cloud services, analytics, or AI concepts
- Experience enabling a salesforce or channel to sell new or unfamiliar solutions
- Physical security market experience
- Ability to lift 30-40 lbs
- Must be available for travel up to 50%, including international travel
- Must be willing to work Eastern Time Zone hours
- Must be based in Chelmsford, MA
