Job Summary
The Business Development Manager will sell the transportation and logistics services of DSV to prospective clients, develop and execute sales strategies to achieve revenue targets, identify and target potential customers (including cold-calling and prospecting), establish and maintain client relationships with regular follow-up and meetings, collaborate with the operations team to meet customer requirements, negotiate contracts and pricing, manage the sales pipeline and CRM updates, stay current with industry trends, and provide feedback to management. Requires a bachelor’s degree in a related field and at least 5 years of sales experience in the transportation/logistics sector. Skills include excellent communication and negotiation, analytical/problem-solving abilities, ability to work independently and on a team, strong organizational skills, proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint) and CRM software (preferably Salesforce). Preferred qualifications include a proven sales track record in logistics, familiarity with international trade/regulations, and experience in freight forwarding or customs brokerage. Fluency in English (oral and written). At Will Employment. Competitive base pay range: $71,000–$106,500 annually, with comprehensive benefits; relocation not specified.
Required Qualifications
- A bachelor\'s degree in Business Administration, Logistics, Supply Chain Management, or a related field is preferred.
