Job Summary
Business Development Manager - Digital Solutions responsible for driving revenue growth and expanding market penetration for NOV Digital Services across oil & gas and adjacent industries. Develop and execute sales strategies, identify and close new opportunities, manage complex commercial engagements, deliver technical demonstrations and ROI-focused discussions, collaborate with cross-functional teams to tailor customer solutions, and travel up to 50% for client engagements.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree preferred in Business, Engineering, Computer Science, Information Technology, Data Analytics, or related field; equivalent industry experience considered.
- 5–10 years of experience in business development, technical sales, enterprise sales, account management, or solution selling within industrial, energy, technology, or oil & gas sectors.
- Demonstrated success achieving or exceeding revenue targets and developing new business opportunities in a B2B environment.
- Proven experience selling technical, software, SaaS, analytics, automation, or digital transformation solutions preferred.
- Strong commercial acumen with the ability to identify growth opportunities and develop revenue-generating strategies.
- Experience managing complex sales cycles involving multiple stakeholders and executive-level decision-makers.
- Strong understanding of industrial operations, operational technologies, and data-driven business solutions.
- Excellent presentation, communication, and negotiation skills.
- Entrepreneurial mindset with the ability to operate independently and drive business growth in evolving markets.
