Business Development Manager - Defense (f/m/d)

Job Summary
Strategic business development professional responsible for shaping and capturing opportunities in international defense markets. Build market intelligence on defense budgets, stakeholders, and procurement cycles; manage strategic partnerships with major defense primes; monitor global tenders and RFIs; develop high-impact sales materials (presentations, white papers, capability statements) for military and government audiences; plan and execute participation in major defense trade shows; travel internationally as needed. Requires experience in BD or consulting, ability to engage with senior defense authorities, and a national security clearance. Fluent in German and English with preference for candidates familiar with defense primes and government contracting; hybrid work arrangement in Munich/Berlin regions.
Required Qualifications
- Several years of experience in Business Development or Consulting
- Confident interfacing with senior military leaders, defense primes, and acquisition authorities
- Able to obtain and maintain a national security clearance
- Fluent in German and English
