Job Summary
Drive market expansion in the Central & Eastern Europe (CEE) region for VarSome/Saphetor’s genomics products. Lead generation for VarSome Premium, VarSome Clinical and VarSome API; develop and maintain relationships with clients and partners; collaboratively translate market needs into product requirements; manage strategic accounts alongside the applications scientist; monitor competitors and provide feedback to product and marketing teams; work with cross-functional teams to refine brand positioning and communications. Requires 3+ years in quota-carrying Sales or Business Development, a BSc in Life Sciences, Genetics, Bioinformatics, or a biotech/business degree, and strong knowledge of NGS workflows. Remote-first with international travel, English fluency (German/French a plus); CRM proficiency (Salesforce, HubSpot) and a commercial, customer-success oriented mindset.
Required Qualifications
- 3+ years in quota-carrying Sales or Business Development
- BSc in Life Sciences, Genetics, Bioinformatics, or a Business degree with a Biotechnology background
- Experience in NGS, Bioinformatics, or Health-Tech sectors
- Proficiency with CRM platforms (Salesforce, HubSpot)
- Fluency in English; German/French a plus
- Ability to work independently in a remote-first environment
- Strong communication and relationship-building skills
- Willingness to undertake international business travel
- Experience in regulated environments (IVDR, CLIA/CAP, or similar) is beneficial
- Industry experience in a bioinformatics software company is valued
- Technical depth in variant analysis and interpretation is a plus
- Global mobility and multicultural collaboration experience
- Strong commercial mindset and ability to translate features into customer benefits
