Job Summary
Fully remote Business Development Manager role leading growth in nucleic acid therapeutics for Axolabs/LGC. Identify and pursue new business opportunities, collaborate with Business Intelligence on high-potential leads, promote Axolabs as a leading multi-site CRO/CDMO, build and nurture relationships with prospects and customers, and drive growth through a structured sales process and strategic negotiations. Preference for candidates based in Berlin, travel up to 50% (including overnight trips). Requires a Bachelor’s degree, proven pharma/biotech/CDMO sales experience, understanding of drug development and regulatory landscapes, strong external communication skills, English fluency, and the ability to navigate complex sales cycles; additional languages are a bonus. Fully remote within Europe and the UK.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field; additional business qualifications are a plus
- Proven experience in winning new business in the pharma, biotech, or CDMO sectors
- Strong understanding of drug development and regulatory landscapes
- Expertise in external communication with customers, prospects, and industry partners
- Self-motivated, goal-driven, fluent in English, and comfortable navigating complex sales cycles (additional languages are a bonus)
