Job Summary
Drive sales of Carrier VRF air conditioning systems in Australia as the technical expert on VRF systems. Build relationships with contractors, consultants, architects, and developers; prepare detailed proposals with system layouts, equipment selection, and pricing; provide technical guidance to customers and coordinate with internal teams from order to commissioning. Requires a Mechanical or Electrical Engineering degree with specialization in Air conditioning and 7-10 years of technical HVAC sales experience; strong communication and presentation skills; CAD knowledge is a plus; willingness to travel to meet clients and attend industry events.
Required Qualifications
- Degree in Mechanical/ Electrical Engineering with specialization in Airconditioning
- 7-10 years’ experience in technical sales in the HVAC industry, with a focus on VRF air conditioning systems
- Excellent communication and presentation skills
- Basic Knowledge in Heat load estimation, computer-aided design (CAD) software and other relevant tools is a plus
- Willingness to travel as required to meet with clients and attend industry events
Desired Qualifications
- Degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering with specialization in Air conditioning
- 7-10 years’ experience in technical sales in the HVAC industry (VRF focus)
- Excellent communication and presentation skills
- Basic knowledge of heat load estimation
- CAD software knowledge (plus)
