Job Summary
Business Development Manager at Broadata Communications, Inc. (BCI) leads growth across assigned accounts and target application markets, identifies and closes new opportunities with OEMs and system integrators, and builds regional business plans to achieve monthly, quarterly, and annual sales targets. The role coordinates Application Engineer and demonstration resources to advance customer development goals, manages the sales opportunity funnel to meet revenue goals, and travels up to 40% within the territory. Key skills include strategic account development, territory planning, consultative selling to OEMs/integrators, press-to-provide demonstrations, effective communication, funnel management, and proficiency with Microsoft Office tools.
Required Qualifications
- 5+ years of sales experience with track record of growth in selling highly engineered products or systems to OEMs, integrators, or imaging market
- 5+ years’ experience developing and growing new customers, new markets or new geographies
- Demonstrated ability to consistently overachieve quarterly/yearly sales targets
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Prioritizes quickly to focus on critical tasks and drive action
- Process-driven – manage business through sales processes: funnel management, sf.com, value/solution based/consultative selling
- Proficient with Microsoft Office tools (Excel, PowerPoint, Word, Outlook)
