Job Summary
Outside sales-based Business Development Manager responsible for pursuing generator sales and rental opportunities for new and existing customers. Field-driven role engaging electrical contractors, engineers, 3rd party customers, and end-users; capable of educating customers on generator sizing and fuel options; prepares quotations, forecasts, and sales plans; manages MSA process with new customers; coordinates with service/maintenance teams to ensure aftersales support and customer satisfaction; requires independent, proactive multi-tasking in a fast-paced environment.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree from an accredited university preferred or equivalent experience.
- 3+ years of power generation or related industry experience including direct sales.
- Demonstrated technical expertise in electric and natural gas power generation products preferred.
- Familiarity with MS software applications and working in ERP/CRM programs.
