Job Summary
Develop and manage outside B2B sales in the Michigan territory by calling on OEMs and distributors, building strong relationships with new and existing customers, identifying and pursuing new business opportunities, delivering sales presentations, hands-on demonstrations and training, and closing sales. Collaborate with distribution partners on pull-through sales, represent the company at industry associations and events, stay current on product knowledge and market trends, and drive ongoing growth in the assigned market.
Required Qualifications
- 3-7+ years of outside sales experience within the building materials industry
- Experience managing OEM accounts and working with distribution channels
- Experience and comfort in hunting and prospecting for new business
- SAP knowledge is a plus
- Cabinetry, millwork, and/or laminate fabrication experience is a huge plus
