Job Summary

Business Development Manager responsible for driving B2B sales in building materials, including calling on OEMs and distributors, developing and delivering sales presentations, performing demonstrations and training, closing sales, and collaborating with distribution partners. The role emphasizes achieving or exceeding sales goals in the assigned territory, building strong customer relationships, pursuing new business opportunities, participating in industry associations/events, and maintaining product knowledge aligned with market trends. Preference for candidates with 3-7+ years outside sales in building materials, OEM account management, distribution-channel experience, hunting/prospecting for new business, and cabinetry/millwork/laminate fabrication experience; SAP knowledge is a plus.

Required Qualifications

  • 3-7+ years of outside sales experience within building materials industry
  • Experience managing OEM accounts and working with distribution channels
  • Experience and comfort in hunting and prospecting for new business
  • CABINETRY, millwork, and/or laminate fabrication experience a huge plus
  • SAP knowledge is a plus
