Job Summary
Business Development Manager for Elastomeric Flow Control (EFC) at Aptar Closures, focused on driving profitable growth in Medical Device and non-packaging markets across North America and Europe. Responsibilities include building a robust sales pipeline, qualifying and closing opportunities, executing strategic go-to-market plans, representing Aptar EFC at industry events, gathering market intelligence, and translating customer needs into product solutions. Requires 10+ years in medical device sales/business development, a Bachelor’s degree (MBA or advanced degree preferred), ability to navigate regulatory timelines, strong cross-functional collaboration, and a proven track record of delivering growth. Travel ~40%, remote-based with preference for US Midwest/East Coast; global reach with potential European involvement; competitive base salary with bonus opportunity.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field
Desired Qualifications
- MBA or Master’s degree preferred
- 10+ years of sales and/or business development experience in Medical Devices or closely related markets
- Demonstrated success developing and executing sales strategies and delivering measurable growth
- Established network within Medical Device organizations and/or med dev CDMOs
- Experience selling complex technologies; able to navigate regulatory considerations and Medical Device development timelines
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Entrepreneurial, self-driven, and detail-oriented
- Cross-functional experience (e.g., operations, quality, product development, project management) is a plus
