Job Summary
Identify and develop new business opportunities by creating and growing the business funnel. Drive early-stage customer engagement and support system-level design-in activities while acting as a trusted consultant for high-speed backplane product needs. Work closely with Sales and FAE teams to convert opportunities into revenue, understand customer roadmaps, and lead competitive analysis. Coordinate with product engineering and operations to ensure feasibility, support key programs from concept through ramp-up, and build relationships with ecosystem partners. This role aligns product positioning with customer requirements within Amphenol's High Speed Products Group, serving major Tier 1 OEMs globally.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Electronics, or a related technical field
- 5–10+ years of experience in business development, product marketing, FAE, or sales engineering in high-speed interconnect or related industries
- Strong experience in early customer engagement and system-level design-in support
- Solid understanding of high-speed backplane, connector, or data center hardware applications
- Proven ability to act as a trusted technical advisor to customers and influence design decisions
- Strong cross-functional collaboration skills (engineering, product manager, sales, and operations)
- Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to engage both technical and non-technical stakeholders
- Strong problem-solving mindset with the ability to translate customer needs into product requirements
- Self-driven, customer-focused, and comfortable working in a fast-paced, global environment
Desired Qualifications
- MBA
- Familiarity with AI infrastructure, servers, or OCP ecosystems
