Job Summary
Business Development Manager for Air & Sea Freight based in Romania (Bucharest or Western Romania) responsible for acquiring and retaining clients and growing existing accounts. Role involves proactively managing client relationships, presenting DP World's services in-person and digitally, understanding client needs to tailor logistics solutions, achieving sales targets, recording interactions in Microsoft Dynamics, handling incoming leads, crafting tailored offers, negotiating outcomes, gathering client feedback, contributing to sales campaigns, and collaborating with internal teams (including finance) to ensure positive client experiences.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing/International Trade/Logistics or equivalent
- Minimum 3 years of successful experience as Business Development Manager/Field Sales Specialist within the freight forwarding industry with focus on Air & Sea Freight
- Operational experience combined with a strategic, long-term approach to business
- In-depth understanding of the Air & Sea Freight market, related transport regulations, challenges, and opportunities
- Full professional working proficiency in English and Romanian
