Job Summary

Conduct weekly and monthly reporting for senior management while ensuring sales forecasts are achieved against quarterly targets. Manage BDC expenses, advertising ROI, and departmental financial performance against budget. Establish performance targets for Business Development Representatives and lead the team to achieve a minimum 20% appointment rate from incoming calls. Direct team contacts for unsold opportunities, sold customers, and survey periods in accordance with dealership and OEM standards. Maintain standards for delivering sales opportunities to sales and service departments while recruiting, training, and motivating the BDR team. Requires five years of automotive business development center experience and supervisory background.

Required Qualifications

  • Demonstrate organizational skill and be detailed oriented
  • Ability to collect and analyze appropriate performance metrics- Create appropriate reports
  • Ability to recruit, train and motivate the BDR team
  • Always lead by example: outgoing, personable, energetic, team player
  • Ability to interact with both senior and peer managers within the dealership
  • Demonstrate an understanding and devotion to the business interests of the dealership
  • Ability to create and maintain a professional work environment
  • Maintain standards for delivering sales opportunities to the sales and/or service departments
  • High school diploma or the equivalent
  • Five years of automotive business development center experience
  • Valid driver license
  • Excellent communication skills

Desired Qualifications

  • College level achievement preferred
  • Supervisory experience preferred
