Job Summary
Senior Business Development Lead for Gujarat and Western India responsible for spearheading strategic pursuits and client engagement. Lead regional BD strategy, identify and shape opportunities, build and nurture pipelines across infrastructure, energy, industrial, urban development, and advisory segments, and maintain senior-level relationships with public and private sector clients. Role requires travel, collaboration with internal teams, and acts as the face of the firm in the region. Will drive pursuit leadership, pricing discussions, and negotiations, and contribute to establishing and scaling AECOM’s regional platform. Requires 20+ years in BD/strategic sales, strong ability to drive outcomes in an evolving environment, and familiarity with EPC/infrastructure sectors. Onboarding includes in-person Day 1 at an AECOM office. Flexible work arrangement is hybrid with frequent external engagement.
Required Qualifications
- 20+ years in business development, client leadership, or strategic sales leadership
- Strong client relationship and influencing skills
- Willingness to travel extensively
- Experience engaging in large capital projects and complex B2G & B2B environments is strongly preferred
- Exposure to EPC, engineering, infrastructure, industrial, energy, or adjacent sectors
- Ability to operate independently and drive outcomes in an unstructured environment
- Executive presence and credible communication with government bodies, PSUs, developers, investors, and large corporates
