Job Summary
Business Development & Investments role at a Software Private Equity firm focusing on B2B SaaS. Frontline architect of deal flow with responsibilities including deal origination from identifying high-potential software companies, founder outreach to articulate our operational playbook, investment thesis development in software sub-verticals (e.g., Cybersecurity, DevOps, HRTech), and rigorous pipeline management from initial touchpoint to LOI. Collaboration with investment and operations teams to move qualified leads into due diligence. Requires high-growth SaaS sales background (SDR/BDR/AE) or PE origination, strong understanding of SaaS metrics (CAC, LTV, Churn, Net Retention), and exceptional verbal/written communication to pitch to founders and distill investment concepts into a compelling 30-second pitch.
