Job Summary
Monitor project development opportunities, research target markets, and write proposal sections covering methodology, country backgrounds, and humanitarian conditions. Develop bid documents and proposals while maintaining files and consolidating submissions for client and consultant rosters. Engage subject matter experts, conduct quantitative data manipulation, and assist with recruitment and consultant profile editing. Organize roundtable discussions and contribute to outreach efforts. This internship is based in Beirut, Lebanon, with remote options available, and leads to an entry-level position after three to six months.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree, or final year of graduate studies in Economics, Public Policy, International Affairs, Political Science, Law or related field
- Native-level ability to communicate effectively in English
- Excellent writing and research skills in English
- Demonstrated understanding of structure of funding of humanitarian and development actors
- Demonstrated knowledge and interest in policy, research, and media
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively with programme and technical teams
- Excellent analytical, writing, and organizational skills
- Experience working in the humanitarian or development sectors
Desired Qualifications
- Proficiency in Arabic
- French or Spanish
- Experience working in sales, finance, and/or business development
- Experience employing data manipulation software and previous experience analysing quantitative data
- Knowledge of relevant donor funding and development mechanisms
- Knowledge and experience conducting quantitative analysis
