Job Summary
Fabricate, maintain, repair, and test equipment while collecting, processing, and evaluating samples from research and development projects. Assist in conducting trials for calibration development using Machine Vision and NIRS technology to sample and measure sugar beet quality. Organize, catalog, and ship materials while controlling schedules to complete projects within cost estimates. Support current and new customers, occasionally travel or drive on behalf of the business. Adhere to safety policies and wear personal protective equipment in a warehouse or outdoor environment.
Required Qualifications
- Organizational, planning and creative problem-solving skills
- Computer skills and ability to learn new systems
- Excellent communication skills and customer service skills
- Ability to operate automated equipment and/or hand tools
- Valid driver's license
