Job Summary
As a Business Development Intern at Rocket Lab in Albuquerque, NM, you will support the Business Development Team by applying emerging technologies to improve costing mechanisms and data management across multiple platforms. You'll work closely with mentors and colleagues to learn and grow technically and professionally, participate in 1:1s, and engage in tech talks and networking events. Ideal candidates thrive in ambiguity, work well in small, high-performing teams, and can lead development projects with minimal supervision while collaborating across teams to deliver results. Requirements include enrollment in a bachelor’s, master’s, or doctorate program in CS/CE/SE/business with at least one semester remaining, a GPA of 3.0+, and 3+ months of applied experience; proficiency in MS Excel, Python, and Java, and experience with AI tools are desirable. This on-site internship runs for a minimum of 12 consecutive weeks starting August/September 2026, with potential relocation stipend assistance.
Required Qualifications
- Must be enrolled in a bachelor’s, master’s or doctorate degree program in a computer science, computer engineering, software engineering, or business discipline and have at least one semester of school remaining post internship.
- GPA of 3.0 or above
- 3+ months of applied experience (internship, laboratory, and personal/team project experience is applicable)
- Able to work full-time, on-site for a minimum of 12 consecutive weeks beginning August or September 2026
