Job Summary
Business Development Executive role focused on B2B sales with small and mid-size businesses in the Pittsburgh region. Responsibilities include attending first-time appointments with business owners, developing referral networks, maintaining CRM hygiene, guiding prospects through the sales process, conducting outreach via phone/email/in-person, collaborating with technical staff to understand client networks, leading conversations from discovery to close, preparing proposals, supporting contract execution and onboarding, and contributing to sales/marketing plans. Requires a four-year bachelor’s degree (preferred) and 10+ years of outside sales experience, MSP experience preferred, strong networking/IT infrastructure knowledge, proficiency with Microsoft Office, and Sandler Selling System training preferred. Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in business, computers, network administration or Information Technology, or similar field is preferred
- 10+ years of outside sales, new business development and sales management in a service-based business
- MSP experience is preferred and helpful
- Strong knowledge of computer networking and computer infrastructure technologies, and computer support needs for small and midsize businesses is required
- Experience with Microsoft Office software (Word, Excel and Outlook) is required; PowerPoint and Publisher helpful
- Sandler Selling System training, experience and certification is preferred and helpful
