Job Summary

USSF Business Development Executive (Remote) drives growth for Space Force opportunities by identifying and qualifying high-potential bids, shaping capture plans, and engaging with senior decision-makers. Responsibilities include winning single award TOs/OTAs, leveraging existing contracts for on-contract growth, developing opportunities with Space Force hubs, maintaining a multi-year Salesforce CRM pipeline with regular updates, delivering capability briefings, facilitating teaming discussions, and guiding proposal submissions. The role requires deep Space Force/DoD knowledge, TS/SCI clearance, a bachelor’s degree, CRM proficiency, and the ability to build trusted relationships, work independently, and travel as needed.

Required Qualifications

  • 5-7+ years of USSF business development experience
  • success in winning contracts, OTAs, single award Task Orders and/or On-contract-Growth
  • ability to leverage relationships with key stakeholders and decision-makers
  • proven capability to shape, qualify, assist in capturing and winning opportunities
  • deep understanding of Space Force missions, acquisition strategies, and decision-making processes
  • expert-level knowledge in pre-solicitation shaping and solutioning
  • Active TS/SCI security clearance
  • Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field (or equivalent proven experience)
  • Familiarity with AI, ML, cybersecurity, and quantum computing priorities in defense
  • strong interpersonal skills and ability to influence stakeholders
  • CRM tools proficiency (Salesforce) and pipeline management
  • ability to work independently and in fast-paced teams
  • commitment to professional growth and delivering results
  • familiarity with on-contract growth (OCG) strategies and DoD markets optional
  • ability to represent company at industry events and conferences
  • ability to develop and deliver capability briefings
