Business Development Executive – SOCOM

Job Summary
Business Development Executive for SOCOM focused on identifying and growing opportunities in wireless processing, RF sensing, EW and defense communications. Build and manage pipelines, conduct market research on SOCOM priorities, develop customer and stakeholder maps, prepare briefing materials, capability statements, proposals, white papers, and presentations, and coordinate with engineering, product, operations, and finance teams. Engage with government customers, prime contractors, systems integrators, and technology partners to translate DeepSig’s AI/ML-enabled capabilities into mission-relevant solutions. Maintain accurate CRM records, support pursuit coordination and capture planning, and provide regular updates on pipeline progress. Travel up to 25% for customer meetings, demonstrations, conferences, and industry events. Requires 2-5+ years of relevant experience, familiarity with SOCOM workflows and DoD markets, a bachelor’s degree (strongly preferred), excellent written/verbal/public speaking skills, ability to communicate technical concepts to diverse audiences, and eligibility for a Top Secret/SCI security clearance.
Required Qualifications
- 2-5+ years of experience in business development, sales, capture support, consulting, program support, military operations, government contracting, or a related field
- Familiarity with SOCOM Program Offices, SOF acquisition processes, SOCOM mission priorities, and the broader SOCOM stakeholder community
- Eligibility for a Top Secret/SCI security clearance is required
