Job Summary
As a Business Development Executive, you will drive revenue growth through strategic sales initiatives in the commercial structural steel and construction markets. This role involves building and maintaining relationships with clients, implementing sales strategies, and collaborating across departments to meet annual sales goals. You will be expected to identify new market opportunities and secure large-scale projects, while utilizing your industry knowledge and professional network to expand market presence. A Bachelor’s degree in a related field is preferred along with a minimum of 5 years' experience in business development.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in business development, sales, or account management within the structural steel or commercial construction industry
- Proven track record of securing large-scale projects and exceeding sales targets
Desired Qualifications
- Established professional network in the structural steel and/or commercial construction markets
- Experience with CRM systems, Microsoft Office Suite, and industry-related software such as AutoCAD and Bluebeam
- Familiarity with Concur Software for expense tracking
Additional Requirements
- Valid driver’s license and clean driving record required
