Job Summary
Business Development Executive responsible for identifying, developing, and securing new opportunities across the Aftermarket Industrial segment, expanding Hercules’ footprint in heavy equipment, rental, fluid power, and manufacturing. Drive data-driven CRM activity to prospect, qualify, and convert accounts; build influential relationships with decision-makers, engineers, and procurement leaders; collaborate with regional/national sales, engineering, supply chain and operations to close deals, shape pricing/program structures, and enhance offerings. Represent Hercules at industry shows (ConExpo, IFPE) and customer engagements, deliver technical training, and design campaigns with Marketing. Travel up to 50% and base near a Midwest airport (Louisville, Chicago, Minneapolis, Milwaukee, Omaha). Qualifications include a Bachelor’s degree and 3+ years in sales/business development, proficiency with CRM tools (SalesForce, Zoho), and strong negotiation skills.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Finance, or similar disciplines
- Minimum 3 years of demonstrated abilities in sales, business development, or account management
- Ability to travel up to 50% of the time
- Strong negotiation and upselling skills
- Ability to lead the conversation and engage decision-makers
- Executive presence and ability to speak at all levels
- Experience with CRM software (SalesForce, Zoho)
- Financial acumen and budgeting/forecasting
- Interpersonal skills and ability to work independently or in teams
- Proficiency in presenting to clients and conducting technical training
