Job Summary
Business Development Executive responsible for driving revenue growth in GCX’s Medical OEM segment. Serve as the primary face to OEM customers, identify and pursue new business opportunities, manage leads and opportunities in CRM, and collaborate with Marketing and Market Development to maximize wallet share with existing accounts. Lead cross-functional collaboration with Engineering and Operations on concept development, design freeze milestones, and product introductions. Coordinate verification and validation activities, support new product introduction from prototype to production, and drive warm introductions and targeted outreach to key customers. Requires strong sales acumen, experience in medical devices or regulated manufacturing, ability to read engineering drawings, familiarity with design control and regulatory environments (FDA/ISO), and excellent communication across technical and executive audiences.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Engineering, Life Sciences, or a related technical field
- Minimum 5+ years of business development, technical sales, or OEM account management experience—preferably in the medical device or regulated manufacturing sector
- Proven success managing complex sales cycles involving cross-functional technical teams
- Strong understanding of medical product development processes, user needs analysis, and NPI workflows
- Familiarity with design control, quality systems, and FDA/ISO regulatory environments
