Job Summary
Business Development Executive to support a DOE-market client in Alexandria, VA. Responsibilities include identifying DOE component opportunities, developing a capture roadmap, expanding networks with program offices and industry partners, building a qualified pipeline across short-, mid-, and long-term opportunities, leading capture efforts (planning, customer meetings, win strategies, proposal coordination), and driving early engagement with government stakeholders. Requires proven ability to shape and win large DOE contracts, deep understanding of the federal procurement lifecycle, and an extensive DOE network. Emphasis on positioning capabilities, pipeline development, and influencing requirements to win contracts.
Required Qualifications
- Demonstrated success shaping and winning large-scale, full and open, DOE contracts ($50M+)
- Deep knowledge of the federal procurement lifecycle and acquisition strategies
- Active and extensive network across the DOE ideally including acquisition officials, program managers, and industry partners
- Highly competitive and ambitious
