Business Development Engineer

Job Summary
Collaborate with the multidisciplinary Business Development team to deliver evaluations of acquisitions, divestitures, and trades across the PR portfolio. Support current technical BD efforts from data management through the quantification of prospective deals, creating and presenting high-quality engineering analysis and recommendations to senior management. Integrate technical underwriting into corporate modeling by working with the Finance Team and execute hand-offs between Business Development and Asset Teams as deals transition into and out of the portfolio. This role requires a BS in Petroleum Engineering with 5+ years of oil and gas experience, including 2+ years in reservoir engineering and familiarity with the Delaware Basin.
Required Qualifications
- BS in Petroleum Engineering or related field
- 5+ years of oil and gas engineering experience
- 2+ years of Reservoir Engineering experience
- Relevant experience with unconventional resource plays
- Specific interest in candidates with Delaware Basin experience
- Self-motivated
- Capable of independently integrating within multi-disciplinary teams
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to communicate effectively with all levels of the organization
Desired Qualifications
- Some operations experience (Production, Completions, Drilling, etc.)
- Working knowledge of Spotfire
