Business Development Director - Structural Restoration

Job Summary
Maintain and grow relationships with existing CSI brand customers in the non-federal restoration services segment while identifying new clients and business partners to achieve financial growth. Develop the organization's market position by acting as a subcontractor of choice for the Eastern US region, specifically from Maine to Florida. Track potential opportunities and increase technical knowledge through operational collaboration, educational participation, and professional networking. Represent the brand with high ethical standards and professional demeanor in all business dealings. Travel up to 75% within the Eastern US region, including site visits, and report to the Chief Business Development Officer.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in business administration, construction management, or other appropriate field
- Minimum of fifteen years of relevant experience
- Demonstrated success in non-federal business development
- Strong knowledge of non-federal restoration services contracting markets in the Eastern US region
- Ability to work cooperatively and professionally with the Chief Business Development Officer, Director of Business Development, other Business Development Directors, and other senior staff to meet objectives
- High standards of ethics, honesty, integrity, and reliability
- Solid platform skills, to include in-person and remote presentations, including telephone and video conferencing
- Demonstrated excellent organizational skills, ability to multi-task, make decisions, solve problems, and exercise good judgment
- Solid Microsoft Office skills
- Self-starter, requiring minimal supervision
- Excellent time management skills
- High degree of sensitivity regarding confidential information
- Valid driver's license
- Ability to travel frequently within the United States, up to 75%+ (3+ weeks per month)
- Must properly use personal protective equipment (PPE) at all times including, but not limited to, hard hats, steel toed boots, eye protection, respiratory protection, and hearing protection
- Must always maintain a constant state of mental alertness
- Must be able to maneuver around work sites
- Must be able to see, hear, and verbally communicate with co-workers and clients
- Must be able to bend, stoop, sitting, walking, or standing for prolonged periods of time
- Must be able to work outside the office environment for extended periods involving exposure to the elements with weather that will include extreme heat, cold, wind, rain or other inclement weather
- Must be able to walk over rough and uneven surfaces
- Must be able to routinely lift up to 35 pounds
- Must pass a pre-employment drug screening (post accepted offer)
- Must have acceptable background check results
