Job Summary
The Business Development Director - Energy Solutions is responsible for selling large, complex, bundled offerings to C Level decision makers, managing long-term customer relationships, and executing the sales process to cultivate new opportunities. This role requires a strong understanding of State & Federal decision-making processes, with responsibilities including leading discussions with government entities, building relationships with economic buyers, and negotiating financial agreements. Candidates should possess a Bachelor’s degree, extensive C-level sales experience, strong communication skills, and a proven sales track record.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in business or related discipline
- A minimum of five to seven years of progressive field sales experience at the C-level
- Proven sales record
- Excellent initiative and interpersonal communication skills
- Demonstrated ability to influence the market at key levels
Desired Qualifications
- Experience selling outcome-based solutions into the Government/Multifamily Housing verticals
