Business Development Associate - UK Wealth, 12 month fixed term contract

Job Summary

Act as a liaison between sales teams and other Aviva Investors areas, coordinating responses to prospective client requests and assisting with lead generation through tools like LinkedIn and Fundpath. Maintain accurate CRM records for activity, pipeline, and revenue while monitoring prospective client activity to provide regular updates and insights to the sales team. Support the planning and delivery of client events, including post-event engagement and reporting, and assist with client follow-ups and marketing campaign distribution. Grow assets under management by engaging with key decision-makers in discretionary wealth, family offices, and UK-based Global Financial Institutions to uncover new business opportunities and strengthen existing relationships.

Required Qualifications

  • Understanding of the UK discretionary wealth landscape, including discretionary fund management and private banking
  • Solid understanding of liquid markets and investment products
  • Proficient user of lead generation and sales management tools, notably Salesforce and Fundpath
  • Strong PowerPoint, Excel, written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to build effective internal relationships across Aviva Investors to deliver client solutions - with energy and pace
  • Understanding of the UK discretionary wealth landscape, including discretionary fund management and private banking

  • Understanding of private markets is an advantage

  • Must be based in London
  • Must be available for a 12 month fixed term contract
  • Must be 'Certified' under the Financial Conduct Authority / Prudential Regulation Authority's Senior Managers and Certification Regime (SMCR)
  • Must be able to complete regulatory background checks
  • Must be able to answer questions on an annual basis to remain 'fit and proper' and competent
