Job Summary
Respond rapidly to marketing-generated leads by qualifying prospects and scheduling meetings with the regional BDM sales team. Conduct targeted cold-calling against defined prospect lists to establish qualified appointments and build rapport with senior business leaders. Maintain accurate records in Salesforce, track activity, and report on conversion metrics while partnering with BDMs to understand territory priorities. Network within community relationships and participate in professional associations as agreed upon with sales leadership. Contribute to the region by meeting or exceeding sales expectations through consistent volume and disciplined follow-through.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree
- 1–3 years of inside sales, business development, or marketing experience
- Superior interpersonal and communication skills
- Demonstrated ability to utilize CRM software to drive sales activity and pipeline management
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook
- Demonstrated ability to work in a team-oriented environment, collaborating with sales and operations teams to identify and resolve challenges
- Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with internal associates, sales leadership, and external prospects
- Comfortable managing multiple tasks simultaneously in a fast-paced, metrics-driven environment — able to meet deadlines, work independently, take initiative, and follow through on commitments
- Genuine ambition to advance into a client-facing Business Development Manager role
Desired Qualifications
