Job Summary
Business Development Associate for Douron to actively promote the brand in the Baltimore business community, cultivate relationships with designers, architects, general contractors, developers, and end-user clients, and drive project leads through showroom presentations, network-building, and proactive opportunity development. Responsibilities include leading showroom tours, presenting product lines and design solutions, following leads to expand opportunities, negotiating contracts, coordinating project progress to ensure customer satisfaction, and maintaining knowledge of furniture-related terminology, floor plans, and installation processes. Requires ability to present professionally, work both independently and with a team, manage time to meet objectives, and uphold company values in client interactions.
Required Qualifications
- 2 – 3 years’ sales experience
- 2 years’ negotiation experience preferred
- Experience selling contract furniture or related services preferred
- Proficiency with PCs and MS Office Suite
- Ability to deliver presentations effectively and professionally
- Ability to develop and maintain familiarity with product lines and industry specifics
- Ability to work independently or collaboratively within a team
