Job Summary
Business Development Sales Specialist to drive growth by cultivating key customer relationships, identifying new business opportunities, and expanding opportunities with new products. Responsibilities include quoting and contract negotiation, collaborating with account managers to ensure customer satisfaction from quotation to shipment, and traveling up to 45% to meet potential customers via trade shows and events. Must develop a deep understanding of company products, services, and competitive positioning, and work with engineering to introduce new product opportunities while maintaining current order bookings and meeting monthly sales goals.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, Communications, or related field
- 5-7 years of experience in Sales, Business, or relevant field
- Technical sales experience within the electronics industry, preferably connector sales
- Knowledge to create proposals and find solutions to meet customer requirements
- Proficient in MS Office
- Understanding of CRM systems and best practices
- Experience meeting monthly sales goals
- Experience with connectors or within the industry
- Excellent organizational skills
- Results-oriented with strong analytical skills
- Strong oral and written communication and presentation skill, technical and nontechnical concepts
- Ability to work within a team to meet quotas
- Ability to work effectively under demanding and dynamic environments, multi-task, and meet deadlines
