Job Summary
Remote business development and proposal development consulting roster for IREX. Responsibilities include supporting the full proposal lifecycle from pre-positioning through submission, producing donor-compliant deliverables, participating in design workshops and review cycles, coordinating with internal staff and partners, and delivering work under tight timelines. Areas of expertise span technical writing, proposal management, cost and pricing, MEL, proposal coordination, subject-matter expertise, recruitment, graphic design, and copyediting. Donor experience with major development actors and foundations is valued; assignments issued on a task-order or call-down basis. Minimum qualifications require a decade of proposal experience, experience with multiple donors, and strong English writing/editing with excellent communication skills. This is a remote (work-from-home) position with assignments issued as needed.
Required Qualifications
- At least 10 years of proposal experience for technical writers and proposal managers
- Experience across a variety of donors
- Professional English writing/editing proficiency (other languages are an advantage)
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
