Job Summary
Business Development and Capture Manager responsible for identifying, shaping, and securing new MDI and C2 opportunities across UK and international defence/security markets. Lead full BD and capture lifecycle from early customer engagement to contract award, build and maintain a robust opportunity pipeline with accurate forecasting (Salesforce), and drive bid activities with cross-functional teams. Act as an ambassador for NGUK at conferences and events, translating customer missions into high-value, capable C2 solutions and shaping strategy with government stakeholders and industry partners. Requires experience selling C2 products/services in government defence/security markets, knowledge of maritime/C2 systems, and a proven track record of managing complex, high-value deals. Travel up to ~40% across UK, Europe, and occasional US. Sole UK national with ability to obtain necessary UK government security clearance.
Required Qualifications
- Experience selling C2 products/services in government defence/security markets
- Knowledge of maritime/C2 systems, EW or CEMA
- Proven ability to sell complex technical solutions and develop profitable deals
- Experience managing UK and international sales opportunities (typically £2m+)
- Strong track record leading cross-functional bids
- Exceptional relationship-building with customers, partners, and internal stakeholders
- Security Clearance eligibility as sole UK national
