Job Summary
Monitor SAM.gov, GovWin IQ, and GSA eBuy to identify, track, and distribute federal procurement opportunities and deadlines. Create and maintain accurate opportunity records in the BD pipeline, including customer details, contract values, and set-aside status. Conduct early-stage research to prepare Gate 0 qualification materials and support active capture efforts through customer and competitor analysis. Organize business development, capture, and proposal files for searchability while assisting with past performance data and compliance tracking. Prepare recurring reports on pipeline activity and forecasts to support process improvement initiatives. Work closely with the VP of Business Development, capture managers, and proposal personnel to advance federal contracting opportunities.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in business, marketing, communications, or a related field, or equivalent experience
- 1–3 years of experience in business development, federal contracting, market research, or proposal support
- Strong research, analytical, organizational, and communication skills
- Proficiency with Microsoft 365
- ability to learn procurement and CRM/pipeline platforms
Desired Qualifications
- experience with SAM.gov, GovWin IQ, GovTribe, or similar tools
- familiarity with the federal acquisition lifecycle
- Shipley BD/proposal methodology
