Job Summary
Drive sales and services by building relationships with operations teams through executive-level decision makers. Develop a SLED business development plan targeting state, local government, and education customers, focusing on new sales with existing prospects and greenfield opportunities. Position Skyline solutions to stakeholders and establish ownership with key buying influences and C-Level executives. Balance short-term revenue wins with long-term engagements to create recurring revenue while navigating complex sale processes. Conduct sales visits and presentations, partnering with architects to position value propositions and engage with sales campaigns. Maintain strategic capture plans, develop quarterly metrics, and update projections weekly in the CRM. Collaborate with partner management teams, division leads for pricing, and sales operations to finalize RFP responses and kickoff new sales.
Required Qualifications
- 5+ years of experience working primarily with SELD (k-12 & Higher Education, State & Local Government) customers
- 5+ years of experience selling Physical Security, Networking, Cybersecurity and/or IT Managed Services
- Bachelor's degree in business, technology, or related field
Desired Qualifications
- Experience leveraging and/or managing contract vehicles and the RFP proposal process
- Experience working in aspects of the delivery process for Physical Security, Networking, Cybersecurity and/or IT Managed Services
- Experience working with hardware/software channel partners to collaborate on sales strategy
- 5+ years of experience cultivating and closing larger sales opportunities, with over $1 million in annual revenue, for individual customers
- Master's degree
- Industry sales certifications
