Job Summary
Identify potential clients using comprehensive sales research strategies, compile target lists, and conduct outreach to turn qualified leads into opportunities. Develop relationships with school leaders, department heads, and Board members to understand client goals and pain points, then qualify needs through a consultative sales process. Implement strategic sales plans that align client objectives with Vertex Education's services, including marketing, finance, HR, and IT support. Manage client satisfaction by anticipating problems, maintaining up-to-date Hubspot data, and reporting market findings and sales volumes to leadership. Travel 25-50% of the time for presentations, conferences, and meetings to build relationships and drive referrals.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree or equivalent and experience
- 3-5 years of direct sales experience to organizational leadership including C-level staff and Boards

- Primary work location for this position is flexible and could be remote if the job functions can reasonably performed from outside of the main office in Chandler, AZ
- This position will require travel throughout the US, 25- 50% of the time with heightened travel during conference season
