Job Summary
Lead the Analyst team in a matrix environment by allocating work based on business priorities, managing capacity, and ensuring high-quality, business-relevant analysis. Act as the primary analytical partner for supported functions, translating functional needs into requirements and communicating insights to senior leaders while promoting data literacy through training. Review, triage, and prioritize reporting requests to minimize dashboard duplication and ensure alignment with enterprise data standards and governance frameworks. Develop and test dashboards and custom reports using Power BI and data from the Data Lake, continuously improving their performance and usability. Collaborate with Data Architecture, Governance, and Technical teams to resolve data quality issues, align definitions, and optimize data pipelines.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in business, information systems, data management, or related field
- Proven experience leading or coordinating an analytics or BI team
- Experience in a global or matrixed organisation
- Demonstrated ability to deliver high-quality dashboards, reports, and analytical outputs that support decision-making
- Strong business understanding across multiple functions
- Ability to translate operational needs into analytical requirements
- Experience collaborating with technical teams (engineering, architecture, governance) to resolve data issues and improve data foundations
- Expert user of Microsoft Suite and Power BI
- Verbal and written fluency in English
- Minimum 3 days per week in the Porto office
- Occasional international travel to other Elementis sites as required
