Job Summary
Business Data Analyst to partner with Marketing, Commercial, and Growth to translate business questions into analyses, dashboards, and recommendations that improve performance and drive growth. Develop analyses to understand customer behavior, commercial performance, market dynamics, and growth opportunities; design and maintain dashboards and self-service analytics using Sigma, Tableau, or similar; define KPIs; identify trends and risks; translate insights into actionable narratives for leaders; collaborate with Data Science, Product, and Business stakeholders to improve data quality and reporting; leverage AI-powered tools to automate recurring reporting and streamline analytical processes; support strategic initiatives with measurement frameworks and ad hoc analyses.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in a quantitative field such as Economics, Statistics, Mathematics, Engineering, Computer Science, Business, or a related discipline
- 3+ years of experience in analytics, business intelligence, operations, technology, logistics, eCommerce, or related field
- Advanced proficiency in SQL or other query languages
- Experience with BI/visualization platforms such as Sigma, Tableau, Looker, Power BI, or similar
- Familiarity with data warehouses such as Snowflake, Redshift, or similar
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills; ability to translate questions into analyses
- Excellent communication and ability to tell compelling data stories
- Familiarity with Python for analysis
- Experience leveraging AI tools to improve analytics workflows
- Bachelor’s degree in a quantitative field
