Job Summary
Business Data Analyst role within The Hartford's Personal Insurance Agile Scrum team. Responsible for end-to-end data analysis and delivery to support data products across domain areas (Quote, Policy, Premium, Loss), from intake to adoption. Collaborate with Product Owners and business stakeholders to define data product intent, scope, and fitness for use; ensure data quality and traceability from business outcomes through data and logic. Utilize emerging data technologies and GenAI for mapping and profiling, drive planning and stakeholder communications, and operate within a fast-paced, collaborative environment to enable data capability growth and value generation. Hybrid work schedule with in-office presence required three days a week in listed U.S. locations.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor degree with at least 6+ years of experience in business analysis or data analysis
- Deep Insurance Domain fluency
- Experience with Big Data technologies
- Ability to translate regulatory, actuarial and product needs into data logic
- Experience with GenAI for mapping, profiling, BRD acceleration and human-in-the-loop validation
- Data governance and data stewardship experience
