Job Summary
Design and maintain database systems using SQL and custom forms to collect data across all business facets. Analyze collected data with Excel or R, then use Power BI to create dashboards for the CEO, Director of Operations, and department heads. Train employees in data entry, ensure collection compliance, and work with leaders to implement new software and technologies. Create predictive models for production, sales, purchases, and maintenance. Support software users and assist with light engineering work. This role supports Stahmanns Inc., a family-owned pecan farm producing millions of pounds annually, focusing on quality and operational insight.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in data analytics, computer science, information systems, business analytics, mathematics, statistics, engineering, actuarial science, or a related field
- Working knowledge of SQL
- Experience or coursework with R, Python, Power BI, Excel, or similar analytical tools
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Good organizational, computer, communication, and interpersonal skills
- Ability and willingness to learn new technologies and business processes
