Job Summary
Collect, interpret, and analyze information regarding bottlenecks in data processes, tools, and systems across business units. Promote continuous improvement by initiating automation and implementing changes to optimize data management processes and align standards. Create logical data models, establish the business glossary and data directory, and provide subject-matter expert advice to internal stakeholders. Monitor customer data policies and assess impacts on relevant legislations like GDPR and DORA. Work within the Customer & Digital Data Office's team of eight to foster collaboration and drive a data-driven culture.
Required Qualifications
- A relevant academic degree, with a focus on Data Science, Data Management, Business Analytics, or a related field
- At least 5 years of experience in data governance, data quality, data management, or data analysis in a large and complex organization
- Knowledge of data governance frameworks, methodologies and best practices, such as DAMA-DMBOK
- Familiarity with data domains and data standards/legislations in the insurance and/or financial industry
- Excellent communication skills in Dutch and English, both written and verbal
- Skilled in leading workshops and meetings, guiding discussions and co-creation
Desired Qualifications
- Preferably experience in larger organizations
