Job Summary
Entry-level Business Customer Development Analyst role in DHL Supply Chain’s Managed Transportation, based in Westerville, OH. You will support the Business Development team to hit annual sales targets, learn from the VP of BD and other team members, and help develop materials and strategies. Responsibilities include creating sales materials (case studies, updated materials), interviewing internal stakeholders and collaborating with marketing, assisting with RFI/RFP responses, conducting market assessments to identify growth opportunities, vetting potential customers for Go/No-Go decisions, coordinating meetings with potential leads, analyzing RFPs and customer data, and shadowing the deal team. You'll travel to meet customers, tour operations where applicable, and participate in training programs to build broader customer-facing capabilities. Required education is a Bachelor’s degree and at least 2 years of experience in marketing, sales, transportation, or logistics. A strong emphasis on developing pipeline, preparing presentations, and learning DHL’s sales processes is stated.
