Job Summary
Lead enterprise risk and control strategy by designing scalable frameworks, overseeing line-of-business risk assessments, and driving ownership for technology-enabled controls. Partner with Technology, Information Security, and Architecture teams to identify, assess, and mitigate IT, cybersecurity, data, and third-party risks. Execute the RCSA and Issue Management programs, ensuring timely issue closure and clear ownership across business and technology teams. Serve as a key liaison to second line of defense and Internal Audit partners to drive governance alignment and audit readiness. Deliver robust reporting on control health and risk posture to senior leaders while championing control automation and emerging technologies.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum eight years related work experience
- Undergraduate degree or equivalent combination of training and experience
- Deep IT risk management expertise
- Control frameworks and operational risk
- Experience in line of business risk
- Control assurance or internal audit
- Experience in a regulated financial services environment
- Strong relationship management and influencing skills across all levels of the organization
- Ability to analyze data and translate it into meaningful insights and recommendations
- Strong data literacy and ability to translate data into actionable insights and strategic recommendations
- Demonstrated ability to lead through complexity and ambiguity while delivering sustainable outcomes
Desired Qualifications
- Graduate degree
- Experience with Governance, Risk, and Compliance (GRC) platforms (e.g., Archer)
- CISSP, CRISC, CISM certifications
