Business Contracts Manager

Job Summary
Manage the end-to-end contracting process including workflows, approvals, and annual reviews of corporate agreements. Create, review, amend, analyze, and negotiate contracts, vendor agreements, lease agreements, and routine legal documents while tracking responses to legal inquiries. Ensure compliance with local, state, federal, and international laws through internal policies and provide recommended actions. Obtain updates from external legal sources and insurance carriers to maintain legal and insurance claims tracking. Track deliverables, milestones, and supplier performance, intervening to mediate disputes or process amendments and renewals. Use workflows and software systems to securely store documents and manage renewals. Assist in maintaining corporate bylaws and business registrations for all locations where business is performed. Negotiate with insurance brokers and third-party administrators regarding premiums, terms, and conditions for property, casualty, and liability insurance renewals.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree or above in Business Management or related field
- 10-15 years of federal contracting experience
- Knowledge of federal and state contract laws and regulations
- Experience completing or supporting audits and investigations
- Knowledge of compliance and risk management processes
- Ability to interpret and communicate legal and regulatory requirements to non-legal experts
- Experience and competency with Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint and SharePoint data storage applications
- Strong communication skills and the ability to articulate information effectively verbally and in writing
- U.S. Citizenship
Desired Qualifications
- Four or more years experience leading a contract management team preferred
- Certificate in federal contracting from an accredited or highly regarded organization
